Common Questions

Visa FAQs

What type of visa do I need?

You need an Indian Medical Visa (M Visa). This is specifically for patients travelling to India for medical treatment. Your coordinator will guide you through the process.

How long does the visa take?

Medical visa processing typically takes 5–10 business days. We recommend applying at least 3–4 weeks before your planned travel date.

Can my spouse/companion travel with me?

Yes. Your companion can apply for a Medical Attendant Visa (MX Visa), which allows them to accompany you during treatment.

How long can I stay on a Medical Visa?

Medical visas are typically issued for up to 60 days. Extensions can be applied for if treatment requires a longer stay.

Do you help with visa extension?

Yes. If your treatment requires a longer stay, our coordinator will assist with the visa extension process through the FRRO (Foreigners Regional Registration Office).

What if my visa application is rejected?

Visa rejections are rare for medical visas with proper documentation. If it happens, we help you reapply with additional supporting documents.

Need Visa Assistance?

Our coordinator will guide you through every step of the visa process and provide all required documentation from the hospital.
